Victor Medina-San Andrés (born September 25th, 1974) Guayaquil, Ecuador.
is an American filmmaker that came to the United States in 1990. Victor
moved from Ecuador at an early age and resided in New York City and
Virginia Beach where he was adopted by his uncle from his father side.
When the family split Victor decided to stay in Virginia Beach and finish
high school at First Colonial High School where he met wonderful teachers
and mentors.
After finishing high school he moved to New York City and studied design.
Getting jobs with different design and furniture showrooms in the city; he
quickly built his clientele and started his own company Modern Loft Design
Group where he built to have up to 30 employees.
After a few years of doing design work, he decided to travel and sold his
company to a few undisclosed buyers. Victor took a long trip on and off
for three years, he traveled all over South America, Europe and ended up
doing the west coast of Africa until he decided to come back to New York
City. When he returned, he started consulting for a few companies and got
the opportunity to work in a short film called Psychonaut as an art
intern. Victor's film career took off since then; he has worked not only
as a Production Designer and Art Director but also as an actor along with
Elijah Wood and Chris Klein. He got discovered while working on The System
Within by music video director Dale Resteghini. In addition, he helped
produced Victoriana which is in the festival circuit. Victor directed his first music video for band Telling On Trixie and is attached to direct a feature length film in 2009.
He lives in New York City with his girlfriend Minna and son Carson, while he's not shooting Victor gets people together in private events and parties not only in NYC but in Paris as well.
